Donnie Cox, Chief Meteorologist, WCTI News Channel 12 has announced the dates and places for the 2025 Weather Radio Wednesdays. Amateur Radio Operators from Carteret, Craven, Jones and Onslow Counties have assisted Donnie in past years with programming weather radios for the public. This program has been a huge success and Donnie is reaching out again for our assistance. If you would like to assist in this year’s event, the scheduled dates and places are as follows.
May 7 – Piggly Wiggly, 715 W Corbett Avenue, Swansboro
May 14 – Down East Ace, 4109 MLK Jr Blvd, New Bern
May 21 – Piggly Wiggly, 1500 Live Oak Street, Beaufort
May 28 – Sound Ace Hardware, 300 Emerald Plantation Rd, Emerald Isle
June 4 – Piggly Wiggly, 8406 Richlands Hwy, Richlands
